The Number 1 Weight Loss Rule

There are countless diets you can use to lose weight. They all can work, provided the calories you take in are less than the calories you burn off. It's not that any one diet plan is leaps and bounds better than the others. Find one that suits you, your lifestyle, and your personality, and stick to it the best you can.


But that's not what I'm talking about here.


The number one rule I want you to keep in mind is simple: You can't fuck this up. (Or if you prefer the G-rated version:) You can't mess this up.


Seriously. You can't.


It's not a test. It's not a race. It's life, specifically, your life.


As long as you keep trying, you haven't fucked up. It doesn't matter if you overate one day. It doesn't matter if you forgot to track your food one day.


Just get back on track. Keep getting up each time you slip and fall and you haven't lost. Even if you fell off for six months, you get back on track and you're good.


You're not a robot, you're a person. You're not going to be perfect. You don't even need to try to be. Do the best you can and when you get tripped up, don't dwell on it. Just get back on track.


You can't fuck this up.
